Applus+ IT Laboratory in Shanghai achieves GlobalPlatform Qualification for GP TEE Functional tests

    Applus+ IT laboratory in Barcelona is the only lab accredited by GP to conduct both Security and Functional GP TEE evaluations.

    Applus+ Laboratories has qualified its Chinese laboratory to evaluate GP Initial TEE Configuration, the GlobalPlatform functional standard for Trusted Execution Environments. The TEE is a secure execution environment that runs in parallel with the operating system of the device and where only trusted and reliable applications are authorized to run.   
    Thanks to this new qualification, which Applus+ already had in its European laboratory in Barcelona, Applus+ will be able  to offer a nearby service to Chinese developers who are starting to develop its TEE solution.
    GP Initial TEE Configuration evaluates the TEE functional and interoperability compliance, ensuring it will perform properly with trusted apps that follow GP standards.
    Applus+ IT Laboratory in Barcelona is the only accredited lab by GP to test TEE functional requirements and conduct GP TEE security evaluations.
