The Moroccan government has designated Applus Fomento Contrôle (part of the Applus+ Group), to be an Inspection Body of the Compliance Verification Program (VoC) with the aim of protecting the consumer and the environment, facilitate trade and improve the safety and quality of products arriving into the country.
In December 2019, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Green and Digital Economy of Morocco designated Applus+ as an Authorized Inspection Body for the Industrial Products Inspection Program. The program entered into full force on February 1, 2020, and applies at the place of origin of the exported products.
Products covered by the program include a range of electrical items, auto parts, building materials, gas appliances, textiles, clothing, and toys, among others. In addition, Applus+ can also guide clients on applying the CMIM mark under the Moroccan requirement for electrical products and toys.
