The newly added C-8 testing capability enables Applus+ Laboratories to provide comprehensive support to POS terminal manufacturers seeking to validate and certify their products for global payment interoperability. With this achievement, Applus+ Laboratories continues to strengthen its role as a trusted testing and certification partner in the payment technology industry.
Leveraging this expanded scope, Applus+ Laboratories has already supported Newland Payment Technology, a leading POS terminal manufacturer in China, in completing the required testing. As a result of this collaboration, Newland successfully obtained the EMVCo C-8 Standalone Certificate, a testament to both the manufacturer’s product quality and Applus+ Laboratories' technical expertise.
